Step Honda’s Gino Rea will still start tomorrow’s Brno World Supersport encounter from the outside of the front row as his time from yesterday was still good enough to keep him in fourth place.
The London-born youngster couldn’t go faster in this afternoon’s session and could only watch as Ten Kate Honda veteran Fabien Foret stole pole with his final lap but is only three-tenths quicker than Rea overall. Broc Parkes is second quickest with team-mate David Salom in third.
Massimo Roccoli heads row two and he has the Parkalgar Honda of San Lowes for company while Chaz Davies’ Parkingo Yamaha is in seventh and a second off the pace. Robbin Harms rounds out row two despite a crash this afternoon. It was another poor performance from James Ellison, however, who finished in 13th.
