And�it’ll be on sale in the UK before the end of 2011.�Denied the right to append to his own name to bikes that are more his than ever (Harley-Davidson still owns the ‘Buell’ in name), the EBR 1190 RS sees Erik Buell fighting out of the shallow grave into which his innovative bike business was cast by H-D in 2009. It’s the first of four planned new road models, to include the as-yet unspecified RX, SX and AX.
Only 100 full-house EBR 1190 Rs will be built, each costing �24k (�27k for the hopped-up Carbon Edition) and as such they represent the pinnacle of what Buell can achieve “with nobody looking over our shoulder”.
