Aprilia SR Max Reinvents Sports Commuting

Press Release:
The new Aprilia SR Max blends big-bike handling and braking performance with the practicality of a scooter.

Large diameter wheels, a top-class chassis and 35mm hydraulic forks give the SR Max sports scooter the responsiveness and feel of a motorcycle. Sporty RSV4-inspired styling contrasts nicely with practical features like a large under seat storage bay, ample pillion seat and adjustable heater vents that direct warm air from the radiator onto your legs on cold rides. A 260mm disc brake with 2-piston floating caliper on the front and a 240mm disc on the rear provide powerful stopping power.

The SR Max is available in both 125cc and 300cc versions. Both are liquid-cooled, electronically injected motors designed with exhilarating throttle response and acceleration in mind:

The SR Max 125 is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4v, 125cc engine. It is equipped with electronic injection and makes 15bhp at 9,250rpm ? the maximum legal limit for a learner.

The SR Max 300 is equipped with a single cylinder, 4v, liquid cooled, electronically-injected 278cc engine. It offers the perfect balance between power & economy for city commuting and enough grunt for out-of-town work.

The saddle on the SR Max has undergone extensive ergonomic testing. The result is a seat that guarantees comfort, whether riding solo or two-up. It features lumbar support for the rider and sturdy grab handles for the pillion.

Both models are available in Nero Aprilia (black & red) or Bianco Glam (white). The SR Max 125 costs 3,599 OTR, while the SR Max 300 is 3,899 OTR.
