Comcast SportsNet Bay Area To Hold "The Search For The World Championship Baby"

For San Francisco Giants fans, last year was cause for celebration as they beat the Texas Rangers in the 2011 World Series.

Comcast Sportsnet Bay Area is celebrating this fact by holding the first ever contest called, "The Search For the World Championship Baby".

We get more from SB Nation Bay Area:

To commemorate the nine month anniversary of the Giants World Series win, Comcast is looking for a Giants championship lovechild, one that is born as close as possible to 7:54 p.m. PT on August 1, 2010; the official nine month anniversary to the minute of Brian Wilson fanning Nelson Cruz for the last out of game 5.

But all innuendo aside, to enter the contest you must sign up online at CSNBayArea.com before July 31, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. PT. Parents will then have until August 15 to provide Comcast with all the official documentation, as well as the date and time of the child's birth to compete for the grand prize. The baby born closest to 7:54 p.m. PT on August 1 will be the winner of a $2,010 Giants gift card, a Commemorative brick paver at AT&T Park with the baby's name and the "Comcast SportsNet 2010 Giants World Championship Baby" title, as well as getting your baby's birth certificate autographed by the San Francisco Giants.

For the couple that wins this congratulations, hopefully you'll be able to put that $2,010 Giants gift card to good use.
