Budds Creek boasts on amazing layout with plenty of hills, big jumps, off-cambers, and of course, great dirt.
A ton of fans braved the heat to watch the Budds Creek National. We saw a lot of bikini tops and interesting tattoos.
Justin Barcia is suffering from Mono, as was advised by his doctor to stay home and rest, but the young Geico Honda rider chose to fight through it at the races. His sixth-place finish in the first 250 moto was impressive on its own, but his second-place finish in the second moto to seal third overall was downright valiant. After posting the second-fastest qualifying time in the first practice session, Barcia elected to pass on the second practice session in order to conserve his energy. It worked!
Rockstar Suzuki’s Martin Davalos had a rough start in the second moto, and was left to pick up his bike in the first turn.
The whole Reed family was on hand to watch Reed take his third overall win in four rounds. His son Tate even joined him on the podium for the trophy presentation.
