British Superbike young guns Loris Baz and Alex Lowes stormed to the top of the final Knockhill free practice timesheet this morning, deposing seasoned campaigner Tommy Hill from the number one spot he occupied in both sessions yesterday.

Motorpoint Yamaha’s Baz lapped in 53.450 which was less than a tenth ahead of MSS Kawasaki’s Lowes while Hill was more than three-quarters of a second in arrears. Swan Yamaha team-mate Michael Laverty is fourth but nearly a full half second further back.

Primo Kawasaki’s Chris Walker is taking full advantage of the wet conditions, taking fifth place in front of Gary Mason’s works Kawasaki while Shane Byrne could only muster seventh.

Josh Brookes, on the Relentless Suzuki, is eighth with first Evo runner Glen Richards ninth on the WFR Honda and Dan Linfoot rounds out the top ten but the Yorkshire toast rack is only a second off the pace.
