The Sea of Showers shade is a 'honeyed white gold with a luminous effect'. You only need a teeny tiny amount so this bottle is going to last for ages. It can either be mixed with a primer or moisturiser to give your face a fantastic glow or you can use it as a regular highlighter on cheekbones and brow bones to pick out areas of the face you want to highlight.
The liquid is just an amazing colour and so flattering. There's no glittery effect at all to this, it's just pure luminosity and radiance. It doesn't make you look shiny or greasy either. It's so smooth to apply and just the right consistency and texture to make blending a cinch, giving a really natural finish. It's water based so it's less likely to break your skin out if you are sensitive to that.
As you can see from the pic below, the liquid has such a lovely subtle effect, it's not too in your face so it can easily be worn in the day time without being over the top. It gives a great healthy sheen to the cheeks. It smells so fresh, it has a fragrance of Cucumber and Peach Flower will. It has Melissa Extract to soothe and Vitamin E to guard against ageing and generally take care of the skin as you wear it.
I can't rave about this highlighter enough. I have tried ALOT of highlighters in my time and this one has just blown me away. The only downside is the price, it's quite expensive at £45.00 for 30ml. However, I really do think this product is worth the money. Benefit High Beam (another favourite of mine) is around £15 per 13ml so if they sold a 30ml bottle, it would be around £34.00. So when you put it like that, it doesn't seem so bad. In my opinion, when a product performs this well, smells so divine and looks this good, it's worth spending a little more. This product is so luxurious and I love using it, it's a total pleasure.
