07/07/2011 – F1 commentator and former Grand Prix driver Martin Brundle made a very special appearance at the PalmerSport corporate driving event on Tuesday (5 July). The 1988 World Sportscar Champion spent the day at Bedford Autodrome chatting to guests, offering driving advice and setting benchmark lap times in each of the seven high performance vehicles that form the PalmerSport fleet.

In addition to the driving masterclass, guests had a unique chance to quiz the F1 star for further tips and anecdotes on his illustrious career at an exclusive Q&A over lunch, followed by a one-to-one photograph opportunity.

Speaking before Tuesday’s first event, Martin said: “I have attended PalmerSport driving days with clients, colleagues, family, and friends on a number of occasions. It’s an exhilarating adventure and everybody wins their own personal challenges in many respects. Jonathan Palmer asked me to attend a couple of events this year to offer advice along with setting some target times. I was delighted to accept.”

In addition to F1 commentating duties, Martin still takes part in the occasional race, recently teaming up with son Alex in a Radical at Brands Hatch. He also guides the career of Alex, who is currently competing in the FIA Formula Two Championship, which will visit Brands Hatch on 22-24 July.

Martin will be returning to Bedford Autodrome on Wednesday 28 September. A limited number of places remain available, so contact PalmerSport as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
