Jarlo Lust List

After getting my gorgeous coral Jarlo dress recently, it made me curious about what else the brand had to offer.

Here's a bit about the brand:

“Jarlo is inspired by a love of beautiful things and a passion for collecting beautiful things”

"Created by Carly Hallahan in 2008, JARLO offers bold, colourful styles in vibrant prints and vintage silhouettes that appeal to true fashion fans. Based in London, the label originally started as a stall in Portobello Road market and became an instant hit with London fashionistas. Celebrity fans include Anna Friel, Dannii Minogue, Nicola Roberts and Una Healey from The Saturdays who have all been seen wearing their favourite JARLO styles. The brand is now taking on the world with stockists not only in the UK but across the globe including France, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Spain, Germany and the United States.  Key styles include cute tea dresses, figure hugging bandeau styles, floor sweeping silky maxis and slick tailoring, all available in a range of gorgeous prints and fabrics".

After having a quick look at their website, I already knew there were 3 more dresses I had my eye on for summer.  The first one is the Robin dress with detachable belt which is priced at £60.00.  It would be great with summery sandals for holidays and summer in general.  It looks like something you would see a retro movie star wearing!

"This playful floral summer dress is perfect for holiday getaways.  Team with red wedges and oversized sunglasses for a bit of vintage inspired fun"

I also love the colour of this Pink Floral Tube Bandeau Dress priced at £55.00.  It would be perfect for summer nights!

"Dazzle on the party circuit with this strapless mini dress with supercute velvet belt. Pair this with a black knit and flats for the day, and for a touch of cocktail glamour trade your flats for heels and your knit for one of our super cute jackets and you'll be ready to shine in this gorgeous print!"

I wouldn't normally wear animal print all over and tend to stick to touches of it in my outfits but I actually love this Ramona brown animal print dress priced at £60.00.

"Be fashionably Fabulous in this gorgeous animal print dress. The shape of this dress is flattering for most body shapes and with a built in Bra that makes this strapless dress so easy to wear this is a must have piece in your A/W wardrobe. Pair with some sky high heels and a red pout for a sexy after 5 look!"

The only gripe I have with the brand is that they only offer sizes 8-14, which I know isn't practical for anyone who requires a size 6 or size 16 plus.  I do think it's a shame that more boutique brands don't offer a wider range of sizes!
