2012 VStrom DL650
After a long-awaited update, Suzuki has enhanced the V-Strom DL650 ABS for 2012 with additional performance and comfort, keeping with the manufacturer’s concept as “The Comfortable Adventure Tourer.”
The V-Strom 650, which hit the market in 2003, a year after the debut of the V-Strom 1000, has been the top-selling model in its class. For 2012, Suzuki hopes to increase sales by offering a motor with better low- to mid-range power, and re-styled bodywork that offers better wind protection.
Suzuki says the fuel economy and enviromental standards have also been upgraded.

Key Features

- The 2012 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 Antilock Brake System (ABS)* unit features a lightweight, compact design. The ABS monitors wheel speed, and matches stopping power to available traction.
Engine Features
- 645cc V-Twin engine features broad torque delivery, signature V-Twin power pulses and sporty quick-revving high rpm range power surges for full-range riding enjoyment. An efficient engine design delivers high mileage and class-leading riding range.
- A radiator with a more compact core, flanked by wind-directing plates shaped with holes* for enhancing cooling efficiency, allows hot radiator air to flow out to the side air outlets and away from the rider’s legs. (*Patent pending.)
