Although Nathan Horton was unable to play in the rest of the Stanley Cup, he might have had a hand in the Bruins winning the Stanley Cup.

Aaron Rome's Vicious Hit on Nathan Horton in Stanley Cup Finals Game Three
During the start of game three of the Stanley Cup Finals in Boston, Vancouver's Aaron Rome hits Bruins right winger Nathan Horton and knocked him out of the game.
Rome was given a five minute major penalty along with a game misconduct and Horton was taken away on a stretcher from the TD Banknorth Garden:
